What is FLY STERLING?
FLY STERLING is a unique opportunity designed to help prospective students visit and experience Sterling College first hand by providing a grant of up to $500 to help offset travel costs.
Who is eligible?
The FLY STERLING grant is available for any student who lives more than 500 miles from campus and visits prior to August 1 for the fall semester enrollee or December 1 for the interterm/spring semester enrollee.
How does the program work?
The student must purchase his/her roundtrip airline ticket at least two weeks prior to the campus visit and provide the Office of Admissions a copy of the ticket receipt during the campus visit. Upon attending Sterling College, the cost of the student’s airline ticket (up to $500) will be credited to their first semester’s student account.
We believe that visiting campus is the best way to see if Sterling College is the right place for you to continue your education. Deciding what college to attend is a big decision and we don’t want the expense of a plane ticket to deter any student from trying out Sterling College. In fact, we believe in college visits so much that we will even pick you up from the airport and put you up for the night. For the best experience, we recommend you plan your visit around one of our campus visit weekends. But don’t worry if those dates don’t work for you. We are happy to schedule a custom visit just for you.
