Office of Institutional Advancement

For almost 120 years, Sterling College has offered students an opportunity to grow and develop educationally and spiritually. We challenge our students and alumni to be thoughtful leaders who understand a maturing Christian faith.

Our department has the unique opportunity of helping people to understand the joy of giving. Whether it is funding a scholarship for a deserving student, contributing to the annual fund to sustain operations, memorializing a family member or special person forever through an endowed gift, many opportunities exist for you to make a difference.

Last year, over 3,271 people gave a total of $6.3 million to advance Sterling College. During the upcoming year, we are expected to raise $7.3 million. We invite you to visit campus, talk to our students and experience all that is Sterling.

responses from supporters of the annual fund.

"The Work of Christian education is unsurpassed. Helping to train young men and women is service immeasurable. It has to do with the home, with business, with the state and with the Church of God. It begins in time, and goes on through eternity. It is like a colossal machine with many wheels. Each institution is a wheel. Every person who gives help in carrying forward this work is a cog in the wheel. It is worthwhile to be a cog. God is the inventor, the owner, the Master Mechanic of this machine, and anyone who by gifts of money or of service becomes a cog by that fact, becomes a co-worker with God."

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich is good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

I Timothy 6: 17-19
