Laura Bateman will be teaching in the Music Department, focusing on vocal studies. Laura received her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance, with a minor in French, from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. She received a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO, and her Doctor of Arts degree in Voice Performance, with a secondary in Vocal Pedagogy, also from the University of Northern Colorado. She has previously taught as an adjunct professor at Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, FL and at St.
Mark Clark serves as Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas. His responsibilities include directing and teaching the choral ensembles, choral classes and Music Theory. Mark holds degrees in Music Education from Wichita State University and Friends University. His primary teachers include Dr. Bud Boughton, Dr. George Gibson, and Dr. Cecil Riney.

Brad Nix currently serves as Associate Professor of Piano and Music Department Chair at Sterling College, located in Sterling, KS. His responsibilities include overseeing the department, teaching applied and group piano, music theory, aural skills, and arranging. He has also taught music appreciation, music history, piano literature, and piano pedagogy.
