Instructor for Exercise Science; Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
K.C. Bassett enters her fifth season as head junior varsity coach, assistant varsity coach, and recruiting coordinator for the Sterling College women's basketball program.
He is in his 24th season as an assistant coach on the Lady Warrior coaching staff. During his tenure as an assistant the Lady Warriors have an overall record of 472-134 (78%) and won seven KCAC regular season championships.
Crandall and Sterling College Head Coach Lonnie Kruse have worked together for over 24 years, having worked together previously at South Barber High School in Kiowa, Kansas.
Lonnie (a.k.a. Coach Kruse) serves as the Head Women's Basketball Coach here at Sterling College, a place that he finds to be very familiar. Lonnie enjoyed the school and community of Sterling College when he was a student here and he still feels that the Christian environment is important to his family. He finds the uniqueness of Sterling to be a highlight-Sterling is a true Christian college and the community provides a one of a kind support. Lonnie is married to his wife, Carol, and has 4 daughters, and 7 grandchildren. He was born in Ellsworth, Kansas.
