Scott is the young gun of Student Life. He recently graduated from Sterling College in the spring of 2013 with a BFA in Communications and a minor in marketing. During his time at Sterling, he met his wife Rebecca and they were married on June 16, 2013. As a student, Scott was passionate about Campbell Hall, the dorm he is now the Resident Director of. He lived in Campbell all four years and was a Resident Assistant in the basement of Campbell for two years.
Justin is from Wichita, Kansas. He is in his thirteenth season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Sterling College. Coach Morris coached the men's team also up until December (2006) before stepping down to focus more on the women's team.
Prior to coming to Sterling, Coach Musselman was a an assistant coach at Utah Valley University. At Utah Valley, Musselman assisted with offensive production and was the top recruiter for the program. Seven of the athletes that Musselman coached won All-Pacific Coast Softball Conference honors while the team set the school record for wins at the Division I level and the school record for highest RPI.
Nickel is a former Sterling College student who has experience working for the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
"I have a passion for sport management and specifically sport PR and sport marketing," said Nickel. "I am excited not only to practice my passion, but to share it with students. This is an opportunity to be both on the practical and the educational sides of the sport management field."
He is in charge of programs, releases, game reports, newsletters and all web details related to athletics.
Meredith O’Donnell joined the Office of Institutional Advancement as the gift receipting and records coordinator. She is in charge of maintaining the database of donors and creating letters, appeals and event invitations. O’Donnell came to Sterling College from CCH – Tax and Accounting, where she had worked for five years as supervisor of IT in the area of quality assurance for ProSystem fx Tax software and 12 years as quality assurance analyst for the ProSystem fx suite.
Lisa joined the Sterling College staff in July 2010. She attended Sterling College for her first two years of undergraduate studies and then transferred to Fort Hays State University to complete her Bachelor of General Studies. Lisa graduated from K-State in 2010 with a Master's in Counseling & Student Development and a graduate certificate in Academic Advising. While attending K-State, she worked for two years as a Graduate Assistant in Disability Support Services.
Mykeal earned his master's degree in religion from Florida State University after completing his bachelor of arts degree in logic and philosophy from the University of Central Florida. He has been living and working in Kansas for more than 17 years.
Lesa and her husband moved to Kansas 4 years ago from Florida with their 2 daughters, Brittany 17 and Sierra 14. Before moving to Kansas Lesa had been a Dental Assistant for the past 12 years. She came to Sterling College in 2009 and is the housekeeper for Evans and Campbell Halls. Lesa is a 4 year Cancer survivor and feels every day is a blessing. She feels that she is very lucky to be able to have the interactions with the staff and students of SC. While Lesa enjoys attending many home games and plays at the college, she also enjoys hunting, nature, friends and family.
