The semester is finished, but over 60 students, faculty and staff are still on campus at Sterling College preparing to leave on mission trips to nine countries. The teams began leaving May 20 and arrive back in the United States by June 5.
The book of Proverbs takes the stage in a production titled “Proverbs: A Compass for Daily Living,” on Wednesday, April 17, in Cornerstone in the Sterling College Student Union, at 7 p.m. The theatrical production, written by Dr. Henry Lederle, professor of theology and ministry, is produced by the students enrolled in the Wisdom Literature class and directed by junior Phil Taylor of Norco, Calif.
With advancements in technology, there are more opportunities for creative teaching methods in the classroom. Professor of Theology and Ministry Dr. Henry Lederle took advantage of the possibilities that technology provides by inviting the author of a book used in his Intro to Missions class to interact with the students through Google+ Hangout, a video chat and conference service.
