This week the Sterling College Missions Department is sending out an additional 50 plus students and seven faculty around the world. This is the second wave of students to leave the college on short-term mission trips.
Run, walk, roll, jog, pedal, scoot, skip and scurry - but don't drive! Put your car in park and leave it in the driveway, because April 9 is going to be a beautiful day. Bring your friends and family down to Sterling College's Gleason Center for the Curry Scurry, a one-mile, 5k, or 10k run/walk event, hosted by the SC India mission team. Be at the Gleason Center on April 9 at 9:15 a.m. to check in.
While most Sterling College students went home after finals to spend their Christmas as usual, 12 SC students along with nine faculty and staff are getting ready to fly to St. Lucia, an island in the Caribbean for a Sterling College mission trip. While there, the team will get a chance to help build houses, play with children and teach seminars on worship, leadership and biblical teaching.
