Brazelton Named to the All-America Third Team

Kansas City, Kan. - Sterling College's Cody Brazelton has been named to the 2011 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball All-America Third Team for the first time. The NAIA announced the All-America Teams this afternoon on the NAIA website. Brazelton earned the All-American Honors in his junior season for Sterling this season.

McGrath, Stutzman Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

Kansas City, Kan. - Kenny McGrath and Trenton Stutzman were named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Scholar Athletes. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

Megan Patrick, Kelly Curtis, and Julie Penner all earned the honor in 2011. Sterling College Named Five Star Champions of Character Institution

Kansas City, Mo. - Sterling College has been named a Five Star Champions of Character Institution by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for the 2009-2010 school year.
