How do I apply?
Upon acceptance to Sterling College, students apply for the program online at www.sterling.edu/habitat/. There, students can either obtain a hard copy of the application, or fill it out online. Applicants submit essays explaining their desire to be a part of the Habitat Fellows program, describe their most meaningful service and leadership activities, and comment on their strengths and weaknesses. Two letters of support/recommendation are required with each application (forms are available online).
After reviewing the application, Sterling College will invite the student for a visit to the college, for a personal interview with the director of the program, and time to visit with the students who are presently Habitat Fellows.
All application materials must be postmarked no later than May 1.
