Sterling College welcomes community college graduates | July 13, 2012

Sterling College has signed 19 new partnership agreements, known as the Guaranteed Admission Advantage, over the past year. These partnership agreements have been formed with 18 Kansas community colleges and with Hesston College. Dr. Gregory Kerr, vice president of academic affairs, crafted the agreement to give transfer students a seamless transition to Sterling College and Sterling College Online.

Adaptive special education endorsement offered online | July 13, 2012

Across the nation there is a shortage of special education teachers, and Sterling College is beginning an online adaptive special education program to help Kansas schools fill this need.

Spring Dean's List Announced | June 15, 2012

The Dean’s List for the spring of 2012 semester has been released. Criteria for the Dean’s List include the completion of at least 12 graded credit hours and a cumulative and semester GPA of 3.5 or better.

The new majors allow students to take classes focus on their specific interests.The number of majors now offered is increasing this fall. The communication and theatre arts department will offer three distinct majors, allowing students to specialize in theatre arts, communications and media arts, or speech and theatre education.
