Social Media has been buzzing with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Challenge has helped raise awareness and financial support of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease or ALS.
Four employees reached milestones in their careers at Sterling College and were recognized at the annual Kickoff Banquet on Monday, Aug. 4. Justin Morris ’00, Felicia Squires, Rick Winters and Lynn Valentine have each served the College for 15 years.
Auditions for “Jane Eyre” & “Nunsense” will be held this weekend.

Callbacks will be held Saturday August 23 from 9am-12pm in Wilson Hall.
Please prepare one song and one monologue. Your total audition time is not to exceed 3 minutes. If you go over time Bryce will politely stop you. Do not worry, if you go over time we will not hold that against you.
Three employees were recognized for five years of service to Sterling College during the annual Kickoff Banquet on Monday, Aug. 4. Lesa Plinske, Dr. Marvin Dewey and Will Teufel completed their fifth year at Sterling over the 2013-14 academic year.
Plinske has worked as a housekeeper for the Service Department. She is in charge of the upkeep and care for Campbell Hall, Douglas Residences, Evans Hall, Wilson Hall, and the Art and Media Center.
Jack Dillard ’03, Renee Dodson, Andy Lambert and Chuck Lambert completed 10 years of service to Sterling College. They were recognized for their service at Sterling College’s Kickoff Banquet on Monday, Aug. 4.
Dillard has served as head coach for the men’s and women’s cross country and track teams for twelve seasons.
