Archbold Named KCAC Baseball Player of the Week

Wichita, Kan. – Andrew Archbold, a senior centerfielder for the Warriors, has been named the KCAC Baseball Player of the Week for his performance last week. During the week, Archbold went nine for 12 from the plate for a 0.750 batting average with two doubles, a triple, two RBI’s and seven runs scored in three games played. Andrew was also four for four on stolen base attempts.

In the first game of the week against Newman University, Archbold went four for four with two doubles, two RBI’s and a run scored.

Against Bethany in the opening game of a double header, Archbold went three for four with two runs scored and two stolen bases in a victory.

In the second half of the double header, Andrew went two for four with a triple, four runs scored and two stolen bases in another victory over the Swedes.

Currently, the Warriors are in first place in the KCAC with a 17-3 conference record, 25-17 overall.
