Sterling College Online representatives to visit Hutchinson

Attending college online is a growing trend, but it can be difficult trying to choose the right school when you do not have the opportunity to meet faculty, talk about financial aid or have someone answer questions about their degree programs. Sterling College Online is filling this need by hosting an open house on Monday, Nov. 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Central Christian High School in Hutchinson for anyone interested in taking online classes.

“We realize that choosing to go back to school is a big decision and brings many questions to the table. We wanted to provide the opportunity for residents in the area to meet some of our faculty, financial aid staff and Sterling College Online personnel face-to-face to answer those questions in the most personal way we could think of. We’re an online program, but we pride ourselves in being available to our students. We hope to convey that on Nov. 17 as we meet with prospective students,” said Piper Harding, director of admissions for Sterling College Online.

Sterling College Online offers degree programs for Christian ministries, criminal justice administration, elementary education, history, organizational management, professional studies, theological studies and a special education add-on endorsement. They have 19 articulation agreements among Kansas community colleges and 2-year colleges, allowing students to seamlessly transfer credits to a bachelor’s program at Sterling College.
