Sterling Golf in Tough CO Field
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (Sept. 10, 2007) - Colorado Christian University will carry a 13-stroke lead over Fort Lewis College heading into the third and final round of the Colorado School of Mines / Regis University Fall Invitational on Tuesday, September 11th, at Fox Hollow G.C.
The Sterling men are rounding out the field as the team score has put them at the back of the pack of the NCAA Division II field, however they are just 8 strokes back of Fort Hays State University after the first day.
Freshman Kevin Quinley from Salina, KS is holding his own in the field of 45 being tied for 12 at 6 over par after the first two rounds, the leader is 4 under par. The invitational closes out Tuesday.
