Sterling College Online Television or SCOTv (the “v” is silent) is the latest addition to the Communication Program at Sterling College. SCOTv programs give the world a glimpse of SC from the unique perspective of our students. In addition to news-oriented programs, SCOTv will serve as an outlet for students with a creative flair. Students have the opportunity to create entire projects from their own ideas and see projects through to fruition.

Sterling College Online Television promises to extend SC further into the digital era of mass communication. Below the most recent project created by Sterling College Communication Students for Sterling College Online Television.

SCOTv Officers

Joel Vetter
News Director

Joel Vetter is a senior communications and mathematics major from Stafford, Kansas. He has been with Sterling College Online Television since its inception and is currently serving as News Director. He loves editing and creating video graphics for SCOTv. One could say he is a Friends addict but also enjoys watching Lost and 24.

Christina Ewald
Assistant News Director

Christina Ewald is a sophomore Communications major from Grand Island, NE. With her organizational skills, tolerance for good-natured kidding, and general optimistic attitude, she helps keep SCOTv running as smooth as possible. Although she lives and breathes Communications, she also enjoys trying new things and spends quite a bit of time in the music dept. When she’s not hibernating in Spencer Hall, at one meeting after another, or hiding so that she can get her homework done, Christina enjoys adventures, laughing until the wee hours of the morning, and anything pink. She hopes to someday become a producer and eventually a director for a news station.
