Charles "Doug" Boardman
Position:
Assistant Professor of History; Dept Chair of History & Government When it comes to someone with experience in teaching, Doug certainly has experience. He taught at the secondary level for 24 years and 10 years at Barton County Community College teaching outreach classes. Doug was drawn to teach in higher education, specifically Sterling, due to its mission statement and Christian worldview.
Doug enjoys reading books on the American West (or any history topic for that matter), and he also enjoys the great game of golf. He has been married to his wife, Norma, for 28 years and he has 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Boardman received his B.A. from Fort Hays State University in 1979 and he received his M.A. from Fort Hays State University
