Jack Dillard

Jack Dillard is in his third season as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country & Track Coach at Sterling College. During his short time at Sterling, Dillard has begun to build a quality cross country and track program.

In his first season, Dillard led the Lady Warriors to a 4th place finish in Cross Country, with one All KCAC runner, and one Honorable Mention runner. The men finished 6th, and had one All-KCAC runner. In his second season Dillard led the Lady Warriors to a 2nd place finish at the KCAC cross country meet. The women's team finished the 2005 season with one All-KCAC runner, one Honorable Mention runner, an All-Region team member as well as a national qualifier.

In track, Dillard has coached 13 All KCAC performers and 17 honorable mention performers over the past two seasons. Also under his guidance have been four new school records set by his athletes.

Jack is a 2003 graduate of Sterling College where he doubled majored in Computer Science and Business. He also was a four year letter winner in both football and track during his time at Sterling. Jack graduated from Wichita State University in the Spring of 2006 with his Masters in Sport Administration.

Dillard was a two time All-KCAC selection in football his junior and senior seasons, when he led the team with 5 interceptions each year. He finished his career with 12 interceptions. In 2002, he was selected by his teammates as Team Captain, Most Valuable Defensive Back, and Most Inspirational Player.

As a runner at SC, Jack ran everything from the 100 to the 400, as well 400 hurdles and long jump. He was two time HM-KCAC in the 400m his junior and senior seasons.

Coach Dillard is single and resides in Sterling, KS.
