Jeff McCormick

Jeff McCormick is entering his first season as lead instructor of the Sterling College mens and women's golf program. Jeff is also the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Cottonwood Hills Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.

McCormick's resume carries an impressive resume including being the Head Golf Professional at Doral Golf and Resort/Spa. Home of the famous "Blue Monster", Operations manager and Golf Pro at Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, and Tournament Coordinator at the Camelback Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona. He also was the Assistant Pro at the Tan-Tar a resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.

"I am very excited to have Jeff committed to being our lead instructor for the Men's and Women's Golf program, " said Head Coach Sean Gillespie. "He is a PGA certified teaching professional that has a great amount of experience not only as a collegiate player but as a teaching professional as well. His enthusiasm for the game and his desire to help Sterling College develop into a highly competitive NAIA golf program is contagious. From the first time I met Jeff, his and Cottonwood Hills Golf Clubs desire to make this Nick Faldo design championship golf facilities our home has been obvious. With his prior experience as a successful collegiate golfer and his years of experience at world class golf facilities, he is a great addition to the golf staff."
