Jennifer Kirk
Jennifer Kirk, Instructor of Woodwinds, received her Master of Music degree in Performance from Wichita State University, where she served as principal flute in the Symphonic Ensemble and co-principal in the Symphony Orchestra. She also holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance degree from Friends University. Jennifer serves as first flute in the Wichita Wind Ensemble and principal flute in the Friends University Community Orchestra. Besides performing, she maintains a large private teaching studio in Wichita, Kansas. Jennifer has been accepted into and participated in many master classes, and has played for various flautists, including Gary Schocker and Bradley Garner.
