Karin Swihart

Karin Swihart graduated from Sterling College with a degree in communications arts and an interdisciplinary degree in societal justice. She is serving as the director of marketing and presidential communications for the office of the president and marketing and communications. She oversees the marketing and communications office which includes public relations, website, social media, guest and conference services, news and media relations, creative design and the internal and external communications for the college. Karin also works for the office of the president and serves as the liason between the board of trustees and the national advisory council. 

Her husband, Ben, currently serves as the resident director of Campbell Hall here at Sterling. They are both involved in Sterling’s overseas missions program, are social justice advocates, and are interested in leadership development.
