Rebecka Vessey

Rebecka Vessey is a recent addition to the Registrar’s Office and never once imagined that she would end up living and working in the middle of Kansas.  She grew up as a well-seasoned traveler; part of a missionary family stationed in the South Pacific.  Even after marriage, to Tom Vessey, a professor at Sterling College, the traveling did not end.  They and their family spent several wonderful years living and studying in St. Andrews and Edinburgh Scotland.  Since moving to Sterling, in 2006, Rebecka has been very involved in her church, community, Sterling Academy (until it closed recently), Broadway Market (our local coffee shop)  and in the events that shape her six children’s lives.  She is also proud of the fact that she has managed to entice her two sisters, and their families, to move to Sterling and join in the community that is Sterling, Kansas.
