Steve Crandall
Steve Crandall is in his 24th season as an assistant coach on the Lady Warrior coaching staff. During his tenure as an assistant the Lady Warriors have an overall record of 472-134 (78%) and won seven KCAC regular season championships.
Crandall and Sterling College Head Coach Lonnie Kruse have worked together for over 24 years, having worked together previously at South Barber High School in Kiowa, Kansas.
“Steve is an excellent defensive coach,” says Kruse. “He has the ability to quickly see weaknesses in our opponents and adapt.” Steve also helps with scouting and works with the Lady Warrior post players.
Steve is a native of Little River, where he, his wife Paula and three sons, Clayton, Quentin and Cameron reside.
Crandall works at Northern Salt Company in Lyons, Kansas.
Steve is a 1976 graduate of Sterling College.
