Women's Basketball Starts Season in the Top 10

Kansas City, Mo. - The Sterling College Women's Basketball Team will start the 2010-2011 season ranked in the top 10 of the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Sterling will begin the season ranked tenth after finishing 14th in the 2009-2010 Final NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Lady Warriors Picked First; Excited for 2010-11

Wichita, Kan. - Women's Basketball at Sterling College is primed to have another championship season according to the KCAC Women's Basketball Head Coaches and the media that covers the KCAC. At KCAC Basketball Media Day in Wichita, Kansas, Head Coach Lonnie Kruse's women's basketball team was selected to finish first in the KCAC by both the KCAC Head Coaches and the media.

Sterling women fall to Northwestern in Sweet Sixteen

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - (Box Score) Northwestern (Iowa) cruised past Sterling (Kan.) 92-50 to punch a ticket into the quarterfinals Friday at the19th Annual State Farm-NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena.

The Red Raiders, now 28-6 on the season, advance to the quarterfinals for the third straight year and will square off against Iowa Wesleyan Saturday at 3 p.m. Sterling's 14th national championship appearance ends in the second round and the Warriors exit at 27-5.

Sterling Edges Past Huntington With Solid Free-Throw Shooting

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - (Box Score) Sterling (Kan.) overcame a minimal 33 field-goal percentage to edge Huntington (Ind.) 61-52 in first-round action Thursday at the 19th Annual State Farm-NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena.
