Sterling College sophomore Megan Patrick was named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference "Player of the Week" after helping lead the Lady Warriors to wins over Friends University and #21 Kansas Wesleyan University last week.
Patrick, a 5'10 guard, averaged 28.5 ppg. and 4.5 rrg. in Sterling's two conference victories last week.

Valley City State is the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Tournament Champion with an overall record of 23-8 and is currently ranked at no. 19 in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Sterling is the four seed in the fourth bracket and will play on Wednesday, March 9 at 9:15 pm at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. During the week, Gasper averaged 21.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in Sterling's two KCAC contests. Sterling went 2-0 on the week and wrapped up their fifth straight KCAC Regular Season Championship.
