Lucas's Double-Double Leads Sterling Past Webber International | December 20, 2010

Babson Park, Fla. - Sterling College's women's basketball team completed the sweep on their two game road trip to Florida, defeating Webber International University 69-52 on Saturday night. Defense was the key again for Sterling in this ballgame, forcing Webber into 25 turnovers. Sterling turned those 25 turnovers into 26 points. The bench also played a big role for Sterling with the Lady Warrior bench outscoring Webber's bench 30-8.

Lady Warriors Win Florida Road Trip Opener | December 18, 2010

Lake Whales, Fla. - The #10 Sterling College Lady Warriors opened the first of back to back games in Florida with a narrow 66-59 victory over Warner University on Friday night. Sterling's defense played a big role in the game, forcing Warner into 21 turnovers and allowing Sterling to overcome being out rebounded 36-41.

Warriors Travel to Denver, Lose to Johnson and Wales | December 17, 2010

Denver, Colo. - After a strong first half, the Sterling College Warriors men's basketball team was unable come away with a road victory in Denver, Colorado against Johnson and Wales University. Johnson and Wales defeated Sterling 78-64, handing Sterling their second straight loss.

Sterling, Kan. - Phenomenal defense was on display on Saturday night in the Gleason Center as the Sterling College Lady Warriors dismantled the University of Saint Mary Spires 72-43 in the final KCAC matchup before the Christmas Break. The win improves the Lady Warriors record in the KCAC to 4-0, good enough for a tie atop the conference with Kansas Wesleyan University.

Saint Mary hit 8 of 19 three point attempts for a total on 24 points on their way to a 63-53 victory over Sterling. The loss drops Sterling to 2-2 in the KCAC, one game out of first place.

Lindsborg, Kan. - With a 70-58 victory over the Bethany College Swedes in Lindsborg on Thursday night, the Sterling College Warriors improved to 2-1 in the KCAC, which puts them in a first place tie atop the conference.
