Gabe Eliserio

Eliserio began his coaching career at Dordt College in Sioux City, Iowa. In 2015, Eliserio was named the associate head coach and coached a number of All-Conference players for Dordt. Prior to that season, he was the defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator for the Defenders. 

In 2010, he was the defensive secondary coach and the special teams coordinator for his alma mater, Sterling College. Before his coaching stint with the Warriors, he served as the defensive secondary coach for the Dordt College in 2008. Eliserio is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).

Eliserio played quarterback at Eastern Arizona College, helping lead the team to its first winning season in 30 years. He then played defensive back at Sterling College, where he was the Warrior Award Recipient, an All-KCAC selection and a participant in the 2008 Senior Bowl.

While at Sterling, he was a mission trip leader in the Philippines in 2010 and also served as the Faith & Sport Advisor at Dordt College from 2012 to 2015. Eliserio earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Sterling College and holds a master’s degree in education and sports administration from East Central University.

Gabe is a member of Grace Bible Church in Hutchinson, Kansas. He enjoys good food, hunting and spending time with his family. Gabe and his wife Dawn, live in Sterling with their two daughters: Grace (5) and Breanne (3).
