Hanna Kozlowski-Slone teaches painting, drawing and photography in the Department of Art & Design. She graduated summa cum laude from Anderson University, receiving a B.A. in art with a concentration in painting and drawing. While earning her M.F.A.from Clemson University, Hanna began working as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, where she taught a variety of art classes.
Hanna maintains an active studio practice that fuels her enthusiasm for teaching. Her paintings, drawings and paper-cuts have been exhibited nationally in numerous juried, group and solo exhibitions. Her work has recently been exhibited at the Manifest Gallery in Ohio, Masur Museum of Art in Louisiana, University of Missouri-Kansas City and the ARC Gallery in Chicago.
Born in Connecticut and raised in South Carolina, Hanna has discovered a newfound love for the Kansas terrain. She is married to David Slone, a fellow artist and studio comrade, and together they enjoy long walks by the lake and conversing over warm cups of coffee.
