Jeff Darnauer’s primary area of teaching is the youth ministry concentration in the Department of Theology and Ministry at Sterling College. He has spent 11 years doing youth ministry in the local church, on mission trips, on retreats and at camps. He has served as a youth pastor in the Church of the Nazarene, where he is ordained. He continues to serve as the youth pastor at the Sterling First United Methodist Church. Jeff is a member of the Association of Youth Ministry Educators. His passion is to see a new generation of students rise up to be passionate, thoughtful and Christ-like followers of Jesus who impact our world.
Jeff grew up in northwest Kansas and has lived in Chicago and Kansas City. He loves spending time with his wife, Kristi, and two young sons, Jace and Caleb. He is a coffee enthusiast and also enjoys traveling and being outdoors and active.
