Dr. Maxwell Patchet

Max joined Sterling in the Fall of 2020. Originally from Wisconsin, Max attended The Master's College where he earned a B.A. in English. He then completed an M.A. at Brandeis University before returning to Wisconsin to complete his Ph.D. at Marquette University. Max specializes in the intersection of philosophy and literature, focusing primarily on existentialism in late 19th and early 20th century Britain and the authors Thomas Hardy, Joseph Conrad, and G. K. Chesterton. In his free time, Max plays disc golf and runs a couple of fantasy football leagues. He lives in Hutchinson with his wife, Maggi.
