Michelle Stewart joins the Sterling College community as Creative Director with a diverse background and wide range of life experiences. Michelle first came to Kansas from Minnesota to attend Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson where she graduated with a B.S. in Business majoring in Organizational Leadership, minoring in Art, and being very active in the Theater department. While on staff at Central Christian she found a passion for Christian education and marketing. When God called her back to Minnesota to be with family she took the opportunity to work towards an A.A.S. in Communication Art and Design from Alexandria Technical and Community College. Right after graduation Michelle moved back to Kansas to work in a print shop as a graphic designer and digital print specialist.
Michelle’s other work and leadership experiences include retail sales and management, interior design, Community Theater, and puppetry. She is most excited to be a part of a campus that invites Christ into everything—especially loving people and helping them grow into the people God created them to be.
