Paul Brandes (’11) serves as Associate Vice President for Student Life & Church Relations at Sterling College. In this role, Paul oversees the diversity committee, church relations, and the Freeman Lecture Series, while also providing leadership to the Spiritual Life department. He is passionate about introducing students to the way of Jesus through chapel and other offerings. He holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy from Sterling College. Prior to serving in this role, Paul was on staff as an Executive Pastor at Christ Community Church in Kansas City.
Paul lives in Sterling with his wife Ashley – a ‘09 Sterling alumna – and their three sons Bevyn, Owen, and Ethan. Paul also serves as an Associate Pastor at the newly planted King’s Cross Church, located in Lyons.
