Serving as the Vice President for Student Life, Tina enjoys watching students grow spiritually and academically while they are at Sterling College. She serves as a member of the president’s cabinet and chairs both the emergency preparedness committee and the student success committee focused on student retention. She also serves as the College Title IX Coordinator.
Tina oversees the student life office which includes all six of the residence halls and residence life teams, career services, counseling center, mailroom, student government association and campus activities, new student orientation and campus health services. She also manages the office of admissions and their respective functions in recruiting new Sterling College students. Tina also manages and oversees all retention data and retention services for the institution.
Prior to coming to Sterling College, Tina served as the dean of student life at Kansas Wesleyan University where she developed a variety of student life programs that complement the students’ academic, spiritual and career pursuits. She also spent time serving as the director of admissions developing and implementing an innovative and comprehensive recruitment operation and overseeing the scholarship program for the college.
Tina and her husband, Jaret, have two children, Julia and Zachary.
