History of the Program
| The Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) at Sterling College began in the fall of 2001 as part of a consortium with three local colleges located in central Kansas. In the summer of 2004, the Sterling College ATEP chose to seek initial accreditation independently from the consortium. Sterling College received initial accreditation from the CAATE on July 15, 2006. The ATEP is housed within the Exercise Science Department which is a division of the School of Professional Studies. |
