What scholarships are available?

100 percent of Sterling students have been awarded some form of financial aid and scholarships provide a portion of their support. Sterling College awards both academic and activity scholarships along with any Federal or State scholarship and grants for which you are eligible.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
Kansas Comprehensive Grant-for Kansas residents.
Kansas State Scholarship-for High School Seniors and Kansas residents selected as State Scholars.
Kansas Minority Scholarship-must meet state-determined criteria.
Kansas Teacher Scholarship-must meet state-determined criteria.

Park College Grant
Presbyterian students accepted to Sterling should complete the Park College Grant application and return it to the Financial Aid Office at Sterling. Both the Park College Grant application and the FAFSA have a deadline of March 1st.

John Knox Presbyterian Church Scholarship.
Students who demonstrate financial need and are members of congregations in the PCUSA must complete a special application, including a four-page paper on the life and person of John Knox, to be considered for this scholarship. The applicant will have previously been awarded a Dean's or Collegiate academic scholarship. Deadline is April 10th.
