Manely Named NAIA-ATA Athletic Trainer of the Year

New Orleans, La. – Ryan J. “Pete” Manely was named the 2011 NAIA Athletic Trainers’ Association Athletic Trainer of the Year. Manely oversees the Sterling College Athletic Training Department and is the co-chair of the Exercise Science Department. The NAIA-ATA honored Manely at during their 2011 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Manely has been at Sterling College for eight years, spending the last four and a half years as the Athletic Trainer Program Director and the first three and a half years as the Head Athletic Trainer.

During the year, Manely oversees the Athletic Training major at Sterling and covers Women’s Basketball as an athletic trainer.
