Volleyball Wins Again - Streak Climbs to Four

 Sterling, Kan. – Early Saturday morning, the Sterling College Lady Warrior Volleyball Team continued their dominance in the Sterling Invitational at the Gleason Center with a three set victory of the Crusaders from Dallas Christian College.


The Lady Warriors were more than a few steps ahead of the Crusaders in talent and skill, meaning playing time for the SC bench. Seventeen different Lady Warriors saw the court in the match.

Carly Cramton was the offensive leader for SC, recording 11 kills on a .400 hitting percentage. Tia Sager added seven kills while Sterling had 38 kills as a team.

Iris Romero handled most of the passing for the Lady Warriors with 18 out of Sterling's 31 assists.

Defensively, Sager led SC in digs with 10 while four different Lady Warriors collected blocks.

With the win, Sterling is on a four game winning streak to start the season at 4-0. SC's next opponent is Johnson and Wales University in the final game of the Sterling Invitation today at 11:45.
