Yellow Ribbon GI Bill | Veterans Education Benefits

Veterans, Active Duty Military Personnel & Family Members

Sterling College is proud to participate in The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program), part of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. Sterling College participates in this special program to honor the service of our armed forces and to help those who wish to pursue a higher education.

The Yellow Ribbon Program is designed for qualifying veterans, active duty personnel and their family members who wish to attend a degree-granting, private college or university. The Department of Veterans Affairs matches dollar-for-dollar the contributions a participating institution such as Sterling College makes toward your costs (tuition, mandatory fees and in some cases other costs) which are above those of the most expensive public institution in the state where you live. Therefore, qualified college students can attend Sterling College for little to no cost.

To be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program, Service members must have been on active duty on or after Sept. 10, 2001.

2014 - 2015 Annual Cost Estimates:

Tuition & Fees: $21,700
Room & Board: $7,692
Campus Activity Fee: $400
Total Cost: $29,792
