SC Softball picked to finish fourth in the KCAC

The Sterling College Softball team was picked to finish fourth according to the KCAC Pre-Season coaches poll released Wednesday.

After finishing the 2007 season with an overall record of 19-20 and sixth place finish in the KCAC, the Sterling College softball team looks to improve on last years performance and compete for the KCAC title this year.

With fifteen returning letter-winners on the roster and a host of new talent present Head Coach Hosea Bell hopes to compete for a KCAC title this spring.

Sterling was picked fourth in the KCAC along with Bethany College. Kansas Wesleyan was picked third with Ottawa second. Friends University was picked to win the KCAC with six first place votes out of eight.

Sterling opens the season on February 15, 2007 as they travel to Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran and then over to Austin, Texas to face Concordia University on the 16th.
