April 14, 2008 - Sterling Collegevolleyball coach Melvin Balogh is pleased to announce the signing of Natalie Bailey who will join the Warrior program in the fall of 2008.
Bailey, a 5’9 outside hitter from Cumby, Texas and prepped out of Miller Grove High School comes to the Warrior program as a very decorated player. Bailey has received, most recently, volleyball honors of 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Conference and team MVP. Currently playing club for Country Jrs and also a 4 sport athlete, Bailey will bring a lot of athleticism to the Warrior volleyball program. A Theater major, Bailey comes to Sterling College with a string of theater awards as well, receiving Best Actress in Region and she is also a three time member of the All Star Cast team. “We are really excited about Natalie; we expect her to be a great player for our program. She is a great student athlete and will be a great addition to not only our program but the whole SC community.” Comments Coach Balogh. Sterling College, established in 1887 competes as an NAIA institution with-in the Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference (KCAC). Sterling College is widely respected for having one of the premier athletic traditions in the Midwest. The men’s and women’s teams bring their passion and their faith to the field of competition.
