Sterling College announces early 2008 Commencement

Different from previous years, Sterling College announces the 2008 Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies to be held nearly three weeks earlier on April 25 and 26. In addition, the location for Commencement is changed to the East Lawn outside Cooper Hall.
Baccalaureate services begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, in Culbertson Auditorium of Spencer Hall. The Baccalaureate address is titled “I Am Not Here on My Own,” and will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Steven Marsh, senior pastor of Eastminster Presbyterian Church of Wichita, Kan.
The Commencement address will be delivered by Dr. John Silber, President Emeritus of Boston University in Boston, Mass. Sterling College welcomes Dr. Silber’s presence as a distinguished and highly honored guest. Commencement will begin with the processional at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, on the East Lawn of Cooper Hall.
