The Sterling College Community Band will perform their spring concert on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Upper Wilson on the campus of Sterling College. The band is composed of students from Sterling College and members of the community.

Directed by adjunct professor Daniel Cathey, the band will perform a variety of pieces including “Steppin’ Round” by Cort McClaren, “Sea Songs” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, “Precious Lord Take My Hand” by Thomas A. Dorsey and “Portrait of a Clown” by Frank Ticheli.

“The students and community members have worked hard to get ready for this performance,” said Cathey. “I am proud of the work they have contributed this semester.”
