Sterling, Kan. - Former Sterling College football players held a reunion at the Grand Prairie Hotel and Convention Center in Hutchinson, Kansas from July 15 through July 17. Players came in from all over the country to reconnect and reminisce about old times playing at Sterling College.

The group of alumni caught up with each other over several rounds of golf. On Friday, the group played a round at the Highlands in Hutchinson before touring the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center. Before traveling to the Sterling College campus on Saturday, the group played a round of golf at Sand Creek Station in Newton.

When the former players arrived to campus, they were given a tour of Cooper Hall, where some remembered having class pre-renovation. After the tour of Cooper, the group had a catered dinner in Heritage Hall where they were met by current Sterling College Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Andy Lambert.

Lambert thanked the group for their contributions to the college as donors, alumni, and for the legacy they left in the football program. After thanking the players, Coach Lambert took the group on a walking tour of the campus which was highlighted by a behind the scenes tour of Smisor Stadium and its new renovations.
