SC Wins Season Finale

North Newton, Kan. - The Sterling College Warriors Men's Soccer team won their final game of the 2010 season on Saturday over the Bethel College Threshers 3-1. Sterling used 11 shots to score three goals and finish the season on a high note with a win.

After a scoreless first half, SC's Bryan Aguado assisted Michael Baxter on a 49th minute goal to give Sterling a 1-0 lead. In the 52nd minute, Bethel's Ever Nunez tied the game at 1-1. An own goal by Bethel's Derek Roush gave the Warriors a 2-1 lead, and Sterling's Daniel Karamoy added an insurance goal in the 77th minute to give SC a 3-1 victory.

The win finishes the Warrior's 2010 record at 3-13-2.
