Sterling College Alpha Chi inducts new members

Sterling College honored 12 students who were inducted into Alpha Chi on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. The collegiate chapter of the National Honor Society includes juniors and seniors who are in the top 10 percent of their class. The inductees were Breanne Akiu of Conway Springs, Kansas; Maggie Carney of Ellsworth, Kansas; Kylah Comley of Lyons, Kansas; Tyler Craig of Bethune, Colo.; Brenna Eilert of Beloit, Kansas; Bethany Jenkins of Burns, Kansas; Tina McFerrin of Sylvia, Kansas; Colleen Meffert of Auxvasse, Mo.; Zoe Oppriecht of Kansas City, Mo.; Michaela Preusz of Pickens, S.C.; Mason Rich of Sterling, Kansas; and Mayda Stallbaumer of Centralia, Kansas.
“The students inducted this year represent Sterling’s best and brightest. They have worked hard over the years, and we are pleased to honor their dedication to scholarship. They join a long and proud tradition of Sterling students who have been admitted to Alpha Chi,” said Dr. Timothy A. Gabrielson, assistant professor of theology and ministry.
