Wednesday, September 6, 2017

Sterling College has been ranked among the 21 Best Colleges in Kansas for 2017 by College Choice. The list was created to give examples of “how Kansans have specific opportunities to thrive academically and then professionally in the workforce.”

The ranking from College Choice, a publication specializing in college and university rankings and resources, ranked Sterling College as the tenth Best College in Kansas. In its description of Sterling College, College Choice noted, “The Sterling community strives to combine the concepts of faith and learning in their lives and in the classroom while allowing students to explore other cultures.”

According to College Choice, the ranking is based on institutional excellence, student satisfaction, and return on investment—a measurement of total cost against expected early career income. The data from their ranking comes from the Kansas Board of Regents, the Kansas State Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics’ IPEDS database, U.S. News & World Report, Payscale, and individual college websites.
