Tuesday, May 24, 2016

The Sterling College Athletic Training Program had three students pass their Board of Certification exam this spring. Kate Brickell of Valley Falls, Kansas; Rebecca Grasha of Olathe, Colorado; and Megan Yoder of Hutchinson, Kansas, all passed the exam on their first attempt.

“Kate, Becky and Megan should all be proud of their hard work and dedication to athletic training that they have exhibited over the past four years. It is always exciting to see our students pass their board of certification exam during their college career and graduate as certified athletic trainers, a definite advantage when applying for jobs and internships,” said Pete Manely, director of the Athletic Training Program.

Brickell, Grasha and Yoder join two seniors who passed the Board of Certification exam in fall 2015 - Matthew Oden of San Jacinto, California and Emily Rivera of Fort Worth, Texas.
