Sterling College set to welcome alumni to campus for Homecoming 2025

Sterling College alumni will travel back to Sterling College to experience the Homecoming 2025 festivities, many of which the community is invited to attend. Registration, tickets and additional information for all Homecoming events can be found at sterling.edu/homecoming.

On Wednesday, Sterling College and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a Fields of Faith event featuring Mandrae Collins ’06 as the speaker. The event will be held at 7 p.m. at Smisor Stadium on the Sterling College campus.

On Thursday, students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a Soda Fountain Social at 7 p.m. in the Cornerstone room in the Student Union. 

Friday’s festivities will include an Alumni Gathering Space beginning at 9 a.m. (Friday and Saturday) in Cornerstone in the Student Union. The 1/1000th of Glory Art Exhibit is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Friday and Saturday) in the Art Building. The Pep Rally follows at 10 a.m. in Culbertson Auditorium in Spencer Hall. The Golden Club Alumni Gathering (all classes prior to 1975) takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cornerstone in the Student Union. The Warrior Women’s Soccer Team plays at 1 p.m. “Pre-Christian Lewis and Christian Readings of Lewis: Bringing C.S. Lewis Home to Sterling” takes place in the C.S. Lewis Center in the Mabee Library at 2 p.m. The Warrior Men’s Soccer Team plays at 3 p.m. The Class of 1975 50th Reunion takes place in 1st Floor South Classroom in Cooper Hall, at 5 p.m.

On Saturday morning, beginning at 7:30 a.m., the community is invited to attend the Annual Pancake Feed at Lonnie Kruse Court in the Gleason Center in support of the Lady Warrior basketball team. The Homecoming Hangout begins at 10 a.m. in the Gleason Center parking lot. The Warrior Meet and Greet begins at 10 a.m. in the Wilkey Fieldhouse in the Gleason Center. A Science and Math Alumni Meet and Greet Social begins at 10 a.m. in Thompson Hall. Concessions open at 11 a.m. at Smisor Stadium. The Warrior football game against Southwestern College takes place at 1:30 p.m. at Smisor Stadium and the Homecoming Coronation follows at halftime. 

“Bye Bye Birdie” will run Friday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in Culbertson Auditorium. On Saturday evening, the Arts Hall of Fame Induction will take place shortly after 7 p.m., before the show starts.
