The academics at Sterling College have proven to be more than I ever expected. I’ve had the opportunity to take classes from a variety of professors. I’ve grown to build personal relationships with them and they have really pushed me and challenged me to be the best I can be.

I came to Sterling because I wanted to play volleyball in a more competitive league. Sterling College gives me the chance to play volleyball and also focus on my classes and be involved in other extracurricular activities.

Old Fashioned 4th of July in Sterling

Show you’re #SterlingProud by joining us during the Old Fashioned 4th of July celebrations. SC will have many opportunities for alumni and friends to engage and volunteer – march in the parade with Sterling College, see old and new friends at the SC booth at the lake, form a team for the 5K Freedom Run, bike ride and other co-ed sport activities. The Sterling College Alumni Association invites you to an alumni gathering at the home of former Board of Trustee member, Paul Laughlin. Enjoy delectable hors d'oeuvres from your local Portland Catering Company. Network with alumni and friends, new and old, and share Sterling stories. Please register by June 1. 

Tex-Mex and Texas Rangers Baseball Game

Join President Scott Rich and the Sterling College family in Arlington, Texas for lunch at Pappasito's Cantina - where the food is fresh, colorful and always sizzling. After lunch make your way to the Ballpark where the Texas Rangers face off against the Minnesota Twins at 3:05 p.m. Register to attend both events or just one by May 14!

Separate registrations are required for lunch at Pappasito's Cantina and tickets to the Texas Rangers Baseball Game. 

Sky Sox Baseball in Colorado Springs

Join the Sterling family to a Sky Sox Baseball game. Enjoy your national pastime and mingle with friends old and new in the comforts of the Coors Picnic Terrace, located down the first base line and directly above the Sky Sox pitchers' bullpen. Your game ticket includes all you can eat buffet, parking, VIP cafe-style table-top seating and more. Gate opens at 5 p.m.; food service opens at 5 p.m. and remains open for 90 minutes; and the game starts at 6 p.m.

Kansas Prayer Breakfast in Topeka

Join Sterling College and others at the 54th Annual Kansas Prayer breakfast in Topeka, featuring guest speaker, Barry Feaker, executive director at Topeka Rescue Mission. The first 22 reservations receive complimentary tickets. A Sterling College reception and short program will immediately follow the breakfast in the Mansion Dining room.
