Sterling College is pleased to announce the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the C.S. Lewis Center, a new hub for literary exploration, spiritual engagement, and scholarly study dedicated to the works and legacy of C.S. Lewis. The ceremony will take place on Monday, March 24, at 10 a.m., inside Mabee Library on the Sterling College campus.

Sterling College welcomed the 2025 Kansas Teacher of the Year (KTOY) team to campus on Tuesday, February 24, providing education students with an opportunity to learn from some of the state's most distinguished educators. The KTOY team, led by Elizabeth “Liz” Anstine, a business teacher at Leavenworth High School and the 2025 Kansas Teacher of the Year, delivered presentations focused on innovative teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.

It’s often heralded as the world’s most beloved comedy. In it, an enchanted forest becomes the perfect setting for the follies and foibles of love-sick humans, mischievous fairies, and amateur actors putting on a play. It’s Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” which will be staged by Sterling College Theatre on Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in Culbertson Auditorium on the College campus. 

“Art inspires art.” For centuries music composers have used works of literature to create their own works. That is the idea behind the winter concert of the Sterling College Symphonic Band with the title “From Words to Music.” The concert is set for Sunday, February 23, at 3 p.m. in Culbertson Auditorium on the Sterling College campus.
