Sterling College Online Learning has announced it is lowering its undergraduate online tuition rate to $135 per credit hour for the 2018-19 academic year. The new online rate represents a significant savings and makes Sterling one of the lowest online tuition prices in the state of Kansas and across the nation. The new rate begins with the Fall I semester, which starts on Monday, August 27.

“We believe that online learning is an important asset for improving the lives of traditional and non-traditional students alike. With classes that fit around work, family and life, students can work toward educational goals when it is convenient for them. Lowering tuition helps more students afford that opportunity, making education more accessible to a greater number of people,” said Dr. Scott Rich, president.

Accredited online programs include bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice administration, elementary education, history, organizational management and pre-professional studies secondary education. The classes are on a seven-week rotation. There are six sessions available each school year, and financial aid is available for those that qualify.

“Our online programs offer an engaging experience with a majority of our classes taught by full-time campus faculty.  Now that we’ve made our programs even more affordable, we offer a great opportunity for working professionals to earn their degree on their own schedule or full-time college students to ‘fast-track’ their degree plans,” said Will Teufel, Director of Online Learning.

Those not enrolled at Sterling College can fill out the online application at online.sterling.edu. Additional information on financial aid is also available at online.sterling.edu, or by calling the Office of Financial Aid at 620-278-4206.
